A wilderness crossing.
A remembering of body, land, and truth.
This is a place of deep listening.
Where time softens.
Where the ocean remembers before we do.
Where the noise of the constructed world finally falls away.
You don’t come here to visit.
You come here to cross.
The takayna coast is ancient, alive, and uncompromising.
A place that strips away performance and returns you to what is real.
Many who feel the call do not yet know what they are crossing into —
only that something in them is ready to be met.
This expedition is an invitation to step out of the constructed world
and into deep relationship with Country, self, and creation.
This is not a retreat.
It is a threshold.
I acknowledge and honour the Traditional Custodians of this sacred Country, and all First Nations peoples who have cared for this land since time immemorial. This work is undertaken with humility, respect, consent, and ongoing relationship.
Country is not a backdrop for experience — it is a living presence and guide.
Every step of this journey is shaped by reverence for this reality.
The Wild Threshold is a place where sacred feminine and sacred masculine currents are brought back into relationship within the individual, between people, and in dialogue with land.
This is not about roles, hierarchy, or performance.
It is about integration.
About restoring coherence where there has been fragmentation.
In this landscape:
receptivity, intuition, sensing, deep listening
presence, direction, protection, grounded action
shaping and refining both
Participants are invited to meet these energies within their own bodies, noticing where one may be over-dominant, suppressed, or fragmented, and allowing balance to re-emerge through movement, stillness, and time on land.
Creative partnership is central here.
Between inner and outer worlds.
Between self and place.
Between what is being released
and what is being born.
This crossing is not about fixing polarity.
It is about remembering relationship.
What is restored here is not an identity.
It is a felt sense of wholeness.
Wild rivers meet the Southern Ocean.
Vast dunes stretch inland.
Weather shifts quickly.
Silence is deep and intelligent.
This is a place that requires attention
and offers transformation in return.
It does not yield to force or agenda.
It responds to presence.
Here, the nervous system slows.
The body recalibrates.
Listening becomes unavoidable.
For many, this is where something long held finally loosens.
This pause matters.
Crossings begin before the first step is taken.
From there, we travel by river into takayna, then continue on foot along the coastline, walking north and spending time on Country. We return to Corinna to rest and integrate before closing the journey.

This is a guided, held journey shaped by weather, land conditions, and the intelligence of the group.
The land sets the pace.
The group moves together.

WILDERNESS AS TEACHER
There is space. There is silence.
There is clarity.
Nothing is rushed. Nothing is extracted.
What unfolds does so because it is ready.
Not because it is pushed.
Participants should be comfortable with:
Walking moderate distances on uneven coastal terrain
Carrying a personal pack suitable for camping on Country
Variable weather, including wind, rain, and cold
Limited facilities and no phone reception
Being part of a small group in close proximity
Equally important is nervous system capacity. Participants are expected to self-regulate, communicate needs clearly, and take responsibility for their own wellbeing.
This expedition is not designed to process acute trauma or replace therapeutic or medical support.
Readiness is assessed through conversation. Mutual fit matters. This ensures the safety of the group and the integrity of the work.
This is a small-group expedition by design.
Group numbers are intentionally limited
The pace is attuned to the slowest body
Flexibility is built into each day
Weather, river levels, and terrain are approached conservatively
This journey is not about endurance or achievement.
It is about moving with care, intelligence, and respect.
The container is designed so the nervous system can settle
and trust can form.

It is priced as a held, resourced, and responsibly facilitated journey. The exchange reflects:
Small group size and high-touch facilitation
Extensive preparation, planning, and contingency
Nervous-system-aware holding and integration
Ethical engagement with Country and First Nations relationship
Time before and after the expedition for screening and integration
Pricing supports sustainability, not extraction.
Payment options and practicalities are discussed during the alignment call.
If the work is aligned, the details can be explored with care.
Nothing is decided before the conversation.

Expand each question below for clear, respectful details about your journey, preparation, and the application process.
This journey asks for honesty and self-awareness.
It may be right for you if you feel called to walk slowly and respectfully along Country, if you are at ease with simplicity, silence, and uncertainty, and if you can meet yourself without performance or distraction.
You may not yet have language for what is calling you. Only a quiet sense that it is time.
This journey may not be suited to those seeking intensity, certainty, or immediate outcomes. It may not feel aligned if you prefer tightly structured experiences or clear guarantees.
This work asks for presence, humility, and self-responsibility. Mutual fit matters, and readiness is always explored through conversation.
We gather in Corinna and take river travel into takayna as described in the journey section. Exact meeting points, travel times, and packing lists are provided to accepted participants in a pre-trip information pack and confirmed during your intake conversation. Travel details may vary by departure and weather; final arrangements are made well before departure.
This is not an endurance race but does require steady footing, basic fitness for walking on uneven coastal terrain, and capacity to be present in silence and ceremony. Prepare with short hikes, supportive rest, and attention to your nervous system. Practical gear, a sensible baseline of fitness, and a willingness to move slowly and listen are the most important preparations.
Pricing reflects small-group design, high-touch facilitation, and care for Country. Fees cover guiding, food, facilitation, and logistics; exact costs and payment options are discussed during application and conversation. Pricing supports sustainability and relationship with Country rather than extraction.
Participation is by application followed by a conversation to assess readiness and fit. Submit an expression of interest via the form on this page; we will follow up to schedule a call. Readiness is discussed respectfully — this process is to ensure safety for participants and Country, not to exclude without reason.
I walk with this work through the body first — through land, movement, breath, and presence.
My background weaves together psychology and counselling, trauma-aware and nervous-system-informed practice, and years of supporting people through transition and change. I am deeply attuned to how the body holds experience, and how safety and pacing allow real transformation to unfold.
Alongside this, I work creatively with image and landscape. For me, creativity and healing are not separate. Both begin with listening.
I hold groups slowly and carefully, with respect for the intelligence of both land and nervous systems.
The land leads.
I walk alongside.
There is no rush. This journey begins with a conversation, not a commitment. To honour the land, the group, and the integrity of the work, participation is by application, and exact locations and logistics are shared only after an alignment call.
Discernment and mutual fit come first. If you feel the call, you are invited to submit an Expression of Interest.
